Some networks, usually WiFi, will require you to login again after short periods of inactivity.
This can be very disruptive if you are not actively using your connection, but still want to receive email or other push notifications when they arrive.
This app will periodically download a tiny file to indicate that your connection is still active.THIS WILL NOT RECONNECT YOU TO THE NETWORK IF YOU ARE DISCONNECTED.THIS WILL NOT HELP IF THE NETWORK TIMES YOU OUT FOR ANOTHER REASON.Some networks have timeouts that are not based on inactivity.
They could log you out at preset times, or for meeting a threshold of use.
This app will not work for those cases.
